Giwa football club expelled from NPFL

Management Company have expelled Giwa football club from the Nigeria Professional Football League following the Jos based side’s failure to honour three league games.
The announcement was made on Friday after the side failed to show up for their Week 18 clash against Enyimba on Wednesday.
The team was banished to Ilorin following their tie against Enugu Rangers in Jos which was enmeshed in a brawl.
Since, they failed to honour games against Wikki Tourist, Akwa United and defending champions Enyimba.
“Giwa FC has been expelled from 2015/2016 Nigeria Professional Football league season,” LMC wrote on Twitter.
“Giwa FC is in breach of the NPFL Framework & Rules for failing to honour three cumulative fixtures without acceptable reason.
“Giwa FC was banished to Ilorin to play three consecutive home games after disturbances in its match day 12 game
